Our journey, your memories

Our journey began with a personal challenge. Our first and only child was diagnosed with an extremely rare genetic condition, TFE3 Neurodevelopmental Disorder, at just 21 days old. This unexpected turn meant days in the ICU, endless tests, and a complete shift in our expectations of parenthood. We longed for the 'normal' newborn experience, the typical milestones, and the family photos that seemed so effortless for others.

The difficulty of doing "normal" things like newborn photos, first-year pictures, and family portraits became acutely clear. It was just too challenging with our situation. Out of this personal struggle, The Closen Collective was born. Now that we've found our routine and a grip on this new life, we want to provide the very service we desperately needed, especially in those early days.
